- Nearest Airport: Bhuj Airport (Rudra Mata) — approx. 85 km from Dhordo
- By Train: Bhuj Railway Station is the nearest railhead; trains from Ahmedabad, Mumbai & Delhi
- By Road: Dhordo via NH-341; regular buses & taxis from Bhuj city
- From Ahmedabad: 400 km by road (5–6 hrs) or 1-hr flight to Bhuj
- Tent City provides shuttle transfers from Bhuj on prior booking
- Carry warm layers — temperatures drop sharply after sunset in winter
- Best months: December & January for ideal weather + full moon experience

Make the Most of Your Visit
Full moon nights, Diwali Week, Christmas–New Year, and Republic Day sell out months in advance. Secure your dates as soon as possible for the best choices.
Arrive by 5:30 PM to witness the stunning sunset before moonrise. Carry warm clothes, a torch, and your camera. Walk out to the Rann after dark for the silver desert experience.
Nights are cold (especially Dec–Jan) so carry warm layers. Light cotton during the day, comfortable walking shoes for salt desert, and sunscreen for daytime exploration.
Don't miss Kala Dungar (Black Hill), India Bridge, Mandvi Beach, Handicraft Villages of Hodka, and Bhuj city sightseeing — all within easy reach.
A permit is mandatory to enter the White Rann. Obtain it online at rannpermit.gujarat.gov.in before arrival, or through your travel package.
