The Great Rann of Kutch is one of the world's largest salt deserts — 30,000 sq. km of Gujarat gone white. After the monsoon, the White Rann near Dhordo turns into a sheet of salt that mirrors the sky, and for one winter season, Gujarat Tourism raises a Tent City on its edge. This is Kutch at its most theatrical: folk rhythm by night, endless white by day, and a moon that seems close enough to touch.
